My Practice
Since retiring from 12 years as a full-time emergency physician, I became interested in the limitations of diagnosis and treatment of some of the patients I attended, – even with the full spectrum of medical testing available in the hospital. So that is why I trained in environmental medicine, functional medicine and European biological medicine. I then incorporated these with conventional medicine in an Integrative Medicine Practice that was available only on a referral basis. The College of Physicians and Surgeons designated me as a Medical Consultant.
10 years ago, I retired officially from conventional medicine and now restrict my practice and only attend patients who have not responded fully to their medical practitioners. A formal referral is not required but these services are not covered through MSP BC.
Currently I use European digital technology to test for additional biological information to integrate with your conventional medical testing and consultations to identify contributing unidentified factors related to some of the unresolved symptoms and/or diseases.
The additional information and broad-spectrum approach that I learned from European medical seminars is now documented fully in recent American medical publications.
These include recognition that all the cells in our body and brain continually communicate with each other. And all these cells are also integrated with many layers of biological information including our individual DNA, and our individual epi-genetics (lifestyle, environment, significant past medical history, toxicity, current medications and supplements).
Therefore, I need full history before I accept any new patient.
